Welcome to Osea Island, a remote holiday resort situated in the estuary of the River Blackwater in Essex. Boasting an array of onsite facilities, the island is the perfect staycation destination for holidaymakers looking to enjoy a fun-filled family getaway. All properties are self-catered. Captain's House offers 9 bedrooms, 7 bathrooms, a living room, a kitchen & a dining area. Sleeps up to 22 guests. Osea Island adopts strict social distancing & cleaning policies to ensure your safety.

LIVING ROOM & LIBRARY:
Captain's House boasts a living room and a library, both located on the ground floor. The library is furnished with 2 leather sofas, 2 leather stools, a coffee table, a flat-screen TV, a wood-burning stove and a well-stocked bookshelf. The triple French doors lead out onto a covered patio and sundeck. The living room is furnished with 3 sofas, a leather stool, a coffee table and a well-stocked bookshelf. The triple French doors also lead out onto the terrace, offering magnificent sea views.

KITCHEN & DINING:
Located on the ground floor, the kitchen is fully-equipped and includes a hob, an oven, a fridge, a microwave, a kettle, a toaster and plenty of cooking/kitchenware. The kitchen also offers a dining table. The separate dining room can seat up to 22 guests. Please note that Osea Island is entirely self catered with no access to shops or restaurants, therefore please bring lots of food, snacks and drinking water. For large groups, chefs can be hired to cook for you via prior arrangement.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:
The house offers a total of 9 bedrooms, each of which is furnished with a double bed, except for bedrooms 5 & 6 which are each furnished with 2 double beds. Bedrooms 1, 2 & 6 are located on the first floor. Bedrooms 3, 4 & 5 are located on the ground floor. Bedrooms 7-9 are located on the ground floor, in the Couch House annex next to the main house. There are 7 bathrooms in total, including 4 en-suites. Six of the bathrooms are fitted with cabin showers, but 2 are en-suite and have standalone bathtubs in the bedrooms. The seventh bathroom is fitted with a bathtub and a separate cabin shower.

Please note that а refundable damage deposit of GBP 900 is mandatory and should be paid via bank transfer and upon check-in. We inspect the property after you check out; if no damage we refund the deposit within 7 days via bank transfer. Please provide us with your bank details when you book with us.
